The UK's poorest households face an increase in their council tax as the Government introduces a 10 percent cut to funding. According to think tank the Resolution Foundation, in the most severe cases families are facing hikes of more than 330 percent. From April, it'll become the responsibility of the UK's 326 local authorities to administive council tax relief.
