A think tank has launched a website tracking changes to council tax support in England.
The UK Government’s Welfare Reform Act will abolish council tax benefit from April 2013 and ‘localise’ the support to individual councils in England. However, the Government is cutting the support by 10% and also instructing councils to protect pensioners from any cuts.
