There has been an increase in the amount of people taking up the Government's Right to Buy scheme, new figures have shown.
Since its re-launch last April, 3,495 council homes have been sold under Right to Buy - a third more than in the previous year and the highest number of sales since 2007.
However, it was revealed in January that the Government had spent close to £1m on advertising the scheme.
