A Stoke-on-Trent housing association has reached a milestone with the purchase of its 30th home for low cost rent. EPIC Housing has invested more than £2 million over the last two years in buying and refurbishing properties for families who need larger homes. Many of the purchased properties have been lying empty for years. Though EPIC has funded most of the scheme itself, it has been helped by a £173,000 boost from Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the Government's Empty Homes Programme. ...
