A London housing association is visiting almost 1,000 of its older residents as part its 'winter well-being' campaign.
Peabody has trained 75 volunteers on topics such as heating advice, fire and carbon monoxide alarm checks, and guidance on how to identify any additional support needs, and sent them out to call on all of its residents aged over 80.
