Manchester ALMO given 30-year contract extension

A Manchester ALMO has had its contract extended to 2042. Manchester City Council last night voted to extend Northwards Housing's management agreement by 30 years, with five-year reviews. The news comes at a time when some councils are closing down their ALMOs (arms length management organisations) as they look to make savings.
