Council blesses Waterloo redevelopment

Lambeth Council has given the green light for a £600 million redevelopment of Elizabeth House in Waterloo, which will include 142 new homes. Two new buildings, one of 11 storeys and another of up to 29 storeys, will be built on the site. As well the 142 homes, 20% of which have been earmarked for affordable housing, they will provide retail space and office accommodation.
