Dozens of homes have been recovered in Lambeth as part of a crackdown on fraudsters.'Cut the Queue', a joint campaign by Lambeth Council and its ALMO Lambeth Living, has seen 32 homes freed up for people who genuinely need them, with a further 40 cases pending.Many of the freed homes were being illegally sublet, an activity that deprives those on housing waiting lists of permanent accommodation.The campaign hopes to recover at least 100 properties by April 2013.
