A local housing association has produced a special video to highlight the lack of affordable rural property in the greater Bristol area. In the South West, the average rural home costs 13 times local income. Around 49% of the population lives in rural areas compared to 27% nationally, and 90,000 people are on the waiting list for this type of home.
