Another social landlord is exploring registering as a provider under the Government's Green Deal.
The 17,000-home Aster Group - which is currently in merger talks with 9,000-home Synergy Housing - said it's exploring Green Deal provider status for its property maintenance business.
The company is carrying out a feasibility study to decide whether to sign up for the £multi-billion scheme, managed by the Department for Energy and Climate Change, which is due to launch in the autumn.
