Decent Homes. Scotch Estate Work Begins.
South Tyneside Council tenants on Jarrow’s “Scotch estate” are to receive major refurbishments to their homes under the Government’s Decent Homes Programme.
Elected Members for the Bede Ward met senior officers from South Tyneside Homes at the beginning of a £3.7 million programme that will see approximately 500 properties modernised by the company’s own Property Services workforce.
