Wolverhampton Homes is an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) which manages 23,500 properties including 1,800 leaseholds on behalf of Wolverhampton City Council. More than 20% of households in Wolverhampton are managed by us. We were established in 2005 and are currently rated 2 stars (Good) by the Audit Commission, with promising prospects for improvement. Since we were established, customer satisfaction with overall housing services has increased by 8% (from 74% to 82%). We are in the midst of a £400 million Decent Homes programme which involves bringing homes up to a Government standard by fitting new kitchens, bathrooms and insulation. The programme sees 100 homes renovated at a cost of £1 .25 million each week. We also manage 5000 garages and 270 shops in the city. You can follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/WolvesHomes
