Treehouse is the national charity for autism education. Established in 1997 by a group of parents, TreeHouse now offers four core services: - an exemplar school, which offers primary and secondary education for local authority funded pupils - a research function, which will contribute to the evidence base of autism education interventions - a development service, which establishes new services and offers support and training to parents and professionals - a policy and public affairs team, which promotes best practice and influences policy-makers
