Gallions Housing Association is a registered social landlord with a strong base in Thamesmead, southeast London. Formed in June 2000, it was created to take transfer of the homes previously owned by Thamesmead Town Ltd. -Incorporated after the GLC was wound up in 1987. We are quite unique for a housing association in that apart from managing our 5,200 homes, we are also responsible for managing the public realm, including 1,000,000 square metres of open parkland, three major lakes and 7km of canals. Gallions Housing Association currently employs 207 dedicated members of staff, each bringing expert knowledge and specialist skills to the organisation and its neighbourhoods. Widely recognised as a dynamic and outstanding neighbourhood manager, Gallions work closely with local people and partner organisations to deliver real results and create sustainable communities. Our residents are at the centre of everything we do and we continue to improve and develop our service in response to the communities we serve. With major regeneration projects, ground breaking development sites and the multi-award winning Ecopark supporting our ambitious growth plans, we continue to thrive.
