Nearly 700 people have applied for a one-off grant from Richmond Council to help pay their fuel bills.

Applications are now being processed so the money can be released to those eligible.
Deputy leader cllr Geoffrey Samuel said: “This is yet another example of the council looking out for those who need our help most. We have made sure every person who is eligible for help will receive exactly that during these tough economic and the council is looking at more ways to tackle fuel poverty in the future.”
