M for Money Credit Union Launches Community Bank

Chiltern District Council played host to M for Money Credit Union as it launched the South Buckinghamshire Community Bank on Friday 24th January.
Cllr. Noel Brown Chairman of CDC welcomed attendees from the credit union , CAB, Bucks County Council and local churches and expressed strong support for the community bank.
Graham Tomlin then provided some background detailing M for Money's progress since it opened for business in 2002.
He was followed by Cllr. Martin Philips from Buckinghamshire County Council who expressed the support and good wishes of the staff and Councillors there.
Also present in the audience was the Chairman of Buckinghamshire County Council Cllr. Carl Etholen.
The launch closed with a Q&A session where members of the audience welcomed the arrival of the community bank and offered encouragement for the development.
Chiltern District Council has agreed to enable a credit union information booth to be sited in the council reception area.
