On 14th & 15th November, Consilium exhibited at the Healthcare Informatics Society of Ireland (HISI) 17th Annual Conference and Scientific Symposium. The society encompasses the informatics sections of the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland and of the Irish Computer Society.
The major theme of this year’s conference was one of developing collaborative initiatives to realise the potential of eHealth in health care delivery and the well-being, innovation and prosperity these partnerships can bring. This theme was chosen because it is now accepted that the successful introduction and utilisation of eHealth involving all stakeholders is not only critical in the delivery of a world class health system but also provides significant opportunities to stimulate economic growth, innovation, research and development.
Northern Ireland Health Minister Edwin Poots was also in attendance at the Conference and visited Consilium’s stand to learn more.
Consilium’s Raymond Collins said “This event was a great opportunity to discuss Mobile Working Strategies with healthcare professionals in Ireland. Implementing a mobile solution is a key way that care can be improved. By allowing case histories and information to be accessed and updated through a mobile device, administration is reduced and more time can be focused on care.
It was a pleasure to meet Mr. Poots at this event. Our solution is well positioned to address his goals to improve Healthcare through technology and innovation.”
