London Borough of Enfield have selected Consilium’s TotalMobile™ solution for 450 mobile workers across various departments.  Implementation of the new system is due to commence within the Environmental Health department in December 2012. The solution will be rolled out to other departments gradually, including Social Care, Housing, Parks and Revenues & Benefits.

Deploying a single system throughout an organisation has a number of benefits, including simplicity, shared knowledge and cost effectiveness. For this reason, Enterprise Mobility has become a major Mobile Technology trend. London Borough of Enfield will also experience the other advantages of using a Mobile System such as improved productivity and efficiency, cost savings, increased staff motivation, better compliance and managerial reporting. This will ultimately allow the council to provide a better service.

TotalMobile™ is uniquely suitable for use in diverse departments and job roles within an organisation, due to its flexibility. Enfield chose the solution as it works natively across all major platforms (iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Android Tablet & Smartphone) and provides a “consumer grade” user experience.

Enfield’s Head of IT Technical Design, Mike Weston said “we are looking forward to working with Consillium to deliver against the Council’s New Ways of Working Strategy and assist service areas in achieving their savings targets by making staff more productive, cutting travelling time and removing duplicate data entry”
