Momentum is gathering to implement fundamental change necessary to improve public services. With major reforms being undertaken by the Scottish Government in local government, health and social care and in the uniformed services this is a time of unprecedented transformation.
Following on from the Scottish Government’s Statement of Ambition, this timely conference brings together influential public sector leaders to give strategic guidance and share knowledge on how to improve the way local services are delivered.
This agenda reflects the latest policy developments and practice including:
• Implementing the recommendations of the Christie Commission
• Developing effective community planning across Scotland
• Investing in preventative work and measuring outcomes
With tightened budgets across the public sector, it is vital to work together to increase performance, reduce costs and protect front line services. This important event provides practical guidance on how local authorities, health and social care providers, police and emergency services can take advantage of collaborative working in their locality.
