Introducing the FLAPLOCK, an internal locking letter plate designed to prevent arson attacks, fishing, lock manipulation and posting of unwanted items through the letterflap.

According to the Association of Chief Police Officers (APCO) crimes that occur  via the letterbox include the dispensing of flammable liquids, fireworks, intimidation, theft and unwanted access to a property.

The FLAPLOCK was designed by the Safety Letterbox Company Ltd, with the co-operation of the Cleveland Arson Task Force.

This product has been successfully tried and tested in various site conditions throughout the UK, with consideration and feedback from Police, Fire Services, Housing Associations & Anti Arson Teams.
