Those in the public sector challenged with delivering better services for less will be able to hear from some of the world’s leading digital technology innovators at Beyond 2010, a two-day major international conference and exhibition taking place in Birmingham on 20-21 October.
Beyond 2010 will connect UK and international delegates with world-renowned thought leaders, including Facebook’s Richard Allan and former Number 10 advisor Charles Leadbeater, senior civil servants, technology commentators and public service managers at the cutting edge of new approaches.
With an outstanding conference and workshop programme, Beyond 2010 is the only event this year dealing with the application of digital technologies to deliver the new government’s agenda centred on efficiency, reform and transparency.
The event is aimed at all public service professionals, from CEOs and CIOs through to service leads, policy planners and public sector agencies such as strategic health authorities and housing trusts; and will provide a highly effective combination of tools, strategic approaches and real-life case studies of digital technology in action today.
Organised by Birmingham City Council and its city-wide Digital Birmingham initiative, Beyond 2010 takes place at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre as part of Hello Digital Week, which runs from 18 - 22 October and comprises a number of events celebrating the city’s and the region's technological achievements against the best in the world.
Potential delegates can see the full conference and workshop programme and book their place at www.beyond-2010.com
