Croydon's Cannes do attitude

Fresh from a successful presence at MIPIM2010 – the
world’s biggest investment and property expo in Cannes,
France – the Croydon EDC is already planning a visit to next
year’s event.
Croydon’s stand activity and promotion at the show this year
(March 16-19) centered around the borough’s positive inward
investment offer and a ‘Masterplanning’ process that
works in partnership with developers. It’s an approach that
found favour with show-goers and the specialist and professional
media from many different countries … it all went to raise
Croydon’s profile amongst international financiers and
developers.
Back in Croydon the MIPIM team immediately set to work following up
a host of contacts made, to encourage them to ‘think
Croydon’.
Croydon EDC is looking for businesses and partners to sponsor the
presence at MIPIM 2011. The initiative is backed by Croydon Council
and a number of UK developers, who are also event sponsors.
There are opportunities for supporting Croydon businesses to
benefit from a high-profile marketing opportunity that reaches a
highly influential national and international audience.
