Croydon Enterprise – seeking a great communicator
The Croydon Enterprise programme is looking for a great communicator ... someone who can tell local people about all the help that's available to help them to go into business or expand an existing
enterprise.
Croydon Enterprise has been working in local communities for the last two years with some good results, but now wants to step up its ‘outreach' work.
To do this, the programme is advertising for ‘suitably qualified, expert organisation' to help deliver the next phase of its ambitious outreach project.
The successful candidate will be able to show expertise in reaching its target communities: people over 50 years old, lone parents, young people (aged 16-23 years), people with disabilities, black and minority ethnic communities and people on long-term benefits. The successful organisation will not itself deliver this outreach directly, but will deal with a number of specialist community groups.
This is a 24 months programme and is subject to satisfactory performance set out in the grant agreement.
Deadline to return completed applications is 12 noon on Friday, 19 December, 2008.
