Thousands of jobs at risk as Focus DIY faces administration
A £50 million package of repairs and improvements to Sandwell Council’s 6,000 homes is going well.
VINCI Facilities, which is working with Lovell Partnerships Limited and Wates Living Space, said all contracting staff are trained to recognise and understand the needs of a vulnerable resident.
Councillor Ian Jones, Sandwell Council cabinet member for jobs and economy, said: "With each of the contractors delivering improvements to around 2,000 homes, it is vital that we work as a team to support the vulnerable tenants and provide the very best in customer care that we can. Feedback we receive direct from residents indicates that we are doing a great job, but the lead taken by VINCI is something we want to maintain and develop across the partnership."
All customer or tenant liaison officers (CLOs) are NVQ level qualified in customer care and VINCI also has weekly and monthly customer care meetings with Sandwell Council to look at service delivery. There are also quarterly meetings with Lovell and Wates to discuss and share best practice.
