Three housing associations have teamed up to show their pride in Manchester’s diversity.
Eastlands Homes, Mosscare Housing and Affinity Sutton joined forces again for the Manchester Pride Parade in late August.
Eastlands Homes chief executive Sheila Doran said: "We love to take part in this annual celebration of diversity which shows off Manchester at its best."
The theme was 'love' and Eastlands Homes said it celebrated "the hippie vibe" and decorated its float with flowers and love hearts. More than 40 staff from all three associations made an emotional return to the 1960s.
Music was provided along the route by Eastlands Homes’ Youth Forum with their Brazilian drums. Several Eastlands Homes’ customers also joined in on the parade or came along to cheer on the float.
To the delight of the crowd, Eastlands Homes handed out rainbow coloured beach balls.
