Yet more staff from the social housing sector are set to appear on BBC One this week.

Claire Coyle, tenancy enforcement manager and Mari Johnson, concierge, of North Lincolnshire Homes (NLH) will star in the channel's 'Caught Red Handed' show, to be broadcast at 11.45am tomorrow.

The social landlord was invited to take part in the show after a network of CCTV cameras at Market Hill, Scunthorpe captured a serial arsonist.

NLH will join fellow social landlord Circle Housing Circle 33, whose staff will also appear in a BBC One programme tomorrow, 'Street Patrol UK'.

Claire and Mari were interviewed by the BBC about how a resident of Market Hill was captured setting fire to rubbish outside a 19-storey block of flats.

Peter Dixon, 48, was sentenced to three years in prison in December 2013 after admitting arson, reckless as to whether life would be endangered.

"He was seen on CCTV setting fire to rubbish inside an industrial-sized waste bin and watching as the fire spread in July 2013.

Claire (pictured) said: “The case of Peter Dixon shows the power of CCTV and how useful it can be in capturing criminals, preventing crime and keeping residents safe.

"I hope the programme will act as a deterrent for any other would be criminals and that residents can feel safer knowing CCTV does work.”
