Housing association Moat is to welcome two new board members this month.
Ian Lindsay is Crossrail’s land and property director, while Jo Moran is head of customer service at Marks & Spencer.
Mr Lindsay is a chartered surveyor and urban regeneration specialist with a background in delivering complex, mixed-use property development solutions in both the public and commercial sectors.
His work at the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham saw him take on the role of head of housing strategy and regeneration and subsequently assistant director for regeneration and housing.
In addition to her commitments at Marks and Spencer, Ms Moran is also the chair of governors for a primary school.
Liz McMeikan, board chair, said: “I am delighted with the appointment of Ian and Jo to our board. Ian’s property background and extensive experience in regeneration will prove a real asset as we move forward with our plans for the Pollards Hill estate in London and challenge ourselves to deliver mixed communities and increase our development capacity.
"Jo has extensive experience of customer services in the retail industry and a determination to do the right thing for customers. She will be pivotal in helping us to provide the best possible customer service for our residents. I believe both Ian and Jo will be great additions to Moat, complementing the skill base of our board and bringing a fresh outlook with them.”
