When Riverside, one of Hull’s leading housing providers, identified that a play area in North Bransholme Hull needed a new lease of life, Bell Group, as part of their commitment to community investment, immediately offered their help.
Together with Johnstone’s Paints, who kindly donated the materials, Bell Group worked with the local community and carried out repairs and re-decoration works to improve the appearance and condition of these important community facilities.
Riverside and Bell Decorating Group have been working together for a number of years to them maintain their housing stock and provide improved facilities for their residents.
Kevin O’Flanagan, Property Services Manager, Riverside said “we are delighted that Bell Group and Johnstone Paints were able to assist us to refurbish this play park. The park looks fantastic and we hope that the local children will enjoy it for years to come.”
Paul Steedman Regional Director of Bell Group said “When we heard of the situation down at Hull we were only too pleased to be able to help carry out the refurbishment of the facility. We recognise how important these areas are to residents and the community and we are committed to giving back to the areas in which we work, whether it be through creating employment opportunities, offering work experience or working with Community Groups to improve or provide local facilities.”
Paul added “We would also like to thank Johnstone Paints for providing the materials which contributed to the refurbishment project”
