Mulbury completes new homes in St Helens

Mulbury Homes has officially handed over a development of 34 new affordable homes in St Helens to the Regenda Group.
The £2m development in Jubits Lane, Sutton Manor, has created a mix of two, three and four bedroom properties that Regenda Group has made available for affordable rent.
Regenda worked with Mulbury, a specialist affordable housing developer, to acquire the site when a private housing developer went into administration in late 2012.
Mulbury quickly completed the seven partially-built homes in March 2013 and then started work on delivering the remaining properties which have received funding from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
Greg Mulligan, director at Mulbury Homes said: “By working in partnership with the Regenda Group we have managed to turn a stalled site into an inspiring housing development that is providing a much-needed boost to the supply of quality, sustainable and affordable homes in the local area.”
Tracy Heyes, Regenda’s executive director of operations, said: “Everyone’s housing need is different and that is the key to the success of this development. Whether you require a large family home or you are downsizing to escape the bedroom tax, this development of affordable homes has something for everybody.”
All of the energy-efficient properties are compliant with Housing Quality Indicators (HQIs) and are designed to meet the government’s Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.
