About the event

Building on the success of the previous ‘Rethinking Repairs’ event CIH has put together another packed programme to get you ‘re-thinking’ how you go about delivering your repairs & maintenance service. We’ll be looking particularly at how we can truly deliver customer excellence and how we need to ‘re-think’ our approaches to face up to the challenges ahead. We’ve brought together a wide range of forward-thinking organisations to share their ideas and experiences with you so you can explore whether some of their approaches might work for you.

The repairs and maintenance service is one of the most important services that landlords provide and it is the service that tenants access the most. This event will look at how you can ensure your repairs service is fit for purpose and delivers customer excellence. The repairs and maintenance role has become more demanding and on-going service improvements are becoming more difficult to achieve.

At this event you will benefit from the experiences, learning and tips of those who have found success in delivering a better, more customer driven, service so you can take back a range of ideas and good practice solutions to your own organisation. Through our ‘working together to break new ground in Repairs & Maintenance project’, CIH is currently working with eleven landlords as part of an open and collaborative approach to evaluate and provide real insight into what it takes to create a repairs service that really hits the mark. The organisations are working together, sharing practice and innovations, to find the solutions that can be promoted to the sector as the ‘next’ innovative best practice. Our participating organisations feature strongly on the programme.

This event is aimed at all housing professionals involved in managing and delivering a repairs and maintenance service. It will keep you up to date with the latest hot topics and initiatives in the profession, highlighting new and potentially innovative approaches to help you provide an excellent and reliable service to both your organisation and customers.
