First time buyers in one of the capital’s fastest growing boroughs are set to receive a welcome boost this week as a leading affordable housing provider launches a selection of affordable homes.

Centra Homes – part of Circle Housing – will this week (Thursday 10th July) launch 33 stunning new homes in Bow, Tower Hamlets, with prices starting at £230,000.

Tredegar Place, which is aimed at young families and first time buyers, has a mix of studios, one, two and three bedroom homes.

A recent survey revealed that prices had risen faster in booming Tower Hamlets than in any otherLondonboroughs. According to property website Rightmove values in the area surged from £433,000 in May 2013 to £620,000 in May 2014 - an increase of 43%.

Meanwhile,Roman Roadmarket is a stone’s throw away and home to an eclectic mix of food, clothing, home and garden stalls as well as independent cafes, bars and restaurants. The area boasts some fabulous open spaces, including Bow cemetery, which resembles natural woodland and is home to a number of bird species,MileEndPark, which is home to a children's play area, an ecology park and the Mile End Stadium, and the huge Victoria Park, which hosts several concerts and festivals throughout the year.
