CSI Awards 2014 - The countdown begins CSI Awards 2014 - The countdown begins

Nominations are rolling in for the first ever CSI Awards UK event. The event is the first of its kind, celebrating and recognising the fantastic achievements of scrutiny and complaints panels, tenant inspectors and mystery shopping.

Linda Levin, Chair of the CSI Awards Committee, said: “There is so much to celebrate in terms of genuine tenant empowerment. I am not alone in being completely fed up with the negative press that the sector seems to attract and the way that tenants are portrayed through the likes of 'Benefits Street' and other TV programmes.

"I have been privileged to work with a huge number of inspiring, creative and intelligent tenants; and I know there are many more. If you are passionate about tenant empowerment, I would urge you to support this superb awards event by nominating the tenants who have inspired you.”

Housing Minister Kris Hopkins will attend the CSI Awards ceremony.

CSI Awards UK 2014 has eleven awards categories:

• Five regional awards categories for inspirational scrutiny panels – North, South and Central England; Wales; Scotland
• Best overall achievement
• Most inspiring newcomers
• Inspirational tenant inspectors and mystery shoppers
• Most inspiring individual panel member or inspector
• Excellence in tenant panel complaints resolution
• Most inspiring communicators

The closing date for nominations is 25th July 2014 and the awards event takes place on 30th October 2014 at Lancashire Cricket Club.
