National Federation of ALMOs Awards - finalists announced National Federation of ALMOs Awards - finalists announced

The finalists for the 2014 National Federation of ALMOs awards have been announced.

Now in their eighth year, the NFA Awards showcase the best people and projects that are helping to improve social housing for tenants across England.

This year the awards feature all new categories designed to represent the breadth and diversity of ALMOs’ influence in our communities. These include awards for housing care and support, working in the private rented sector and tackling worklessness.

Finalists have been selected in each of the ten categories and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony and dinner, to be held during the NFA’s annual conference on the evening of 16 July 2014.

Sue Roberts MBE, NFA Chair, said: “I've always said that the ALMO sector is doing some incredibly innovative and outstanding work and the 2014 NFA Awards finalists are helping to prove just that.

"Some of the examples of the ways in which ALMOs from across England are working now, shows the very best about what this sector is all about - celebrating tenant involvement and making a real difference to people's lives."
