Generous staff at Cotman Housing Association, part of Places for People Group, have raised over £1,250 for East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Cotman colleagues handed over a cheque on Wednesday 11th June.
They raised £1,000 through a range of activities, including a weekly Lottery ‘bonus ball draw’, staff BBQs and picnics, car washing and sponsored sporting challenges.
A further donation was made by Places for People Group, bolstering the final total by £250.00.
Jane Warnes, managing director of Cotman, said:
“Each year our staff choose a charity to raise money for. This year they voted overwhelmingly to support East Anglian Air Ambulance which provides such a vital service to people in need.
“Through a variety of imaginative events and activities we’ve managed to raise a great sum of money. I am delighted the funds will go towards such a worthwhile cause.”
Klara Mears, deputy fundraising coordinator at East Anglian Air Ambulance, added:
“We are very grateful to all the staff at Cotman Housing Association for their hard work and generosity. As a registered charity, we rely on donations such as this to keep supporting people in emergency situations.”
