Guinness South has announced the appointment of David Kenyon as Financial Inclusion and Initiatives Manager.
David has spent the past year working at Viridian as a Financial Inclusion Manager. Before this he worked for Disability Advice Service Lambeth (DASL) as a Benefits Advice and Advocacy Team Leader.
“I’m really pleased to be working for Guinness South,” David said, “And I am looking forward to heading up such a successful team who has already achieved a lot for the residents they work with. I’ve always admired Guinness’ ethics when it comes to social housing, and the fact that this hasn’t changed over the years. It’s something that attracted me to both the company and the role and I’m really keen to get stuck in.”
Tony Swinden, Director of Neighbourhood Services, said, “I know that David is keen to bring his extensive experience and skills to Guinness South. Last year our Financial Inclusion team worked with residents to generate over £1,470,000 of additional income, helping those experiencing financial difficulty to remain in their home. We’ve appointed David to keep that momentum going, as well as to help us continue to develop our Tenancy Sustainment service.”
