A grateful Halton resident was impressed to find her garden completely transformed after the environmental team from Halton House Trust made it their mission to complete the work.
The property in question was a recent void and the resident was upset that the garden had been left to become overgrown and unusable. After the issue was reported to the Trust, staff quickly assessed the problem and promised to do something with the garden.
In a feat worthy of a makeover show, the team shifted 10 tonnes in 3 days and the garden was ready for the customer to move in.
Anthony Jackson, Environmental Services Operational Manager said ‘We were determined to make drastic improvements to the garden after it was brought to our attention. We were able to expedite the work to ensure it was ready for the customer to move in and kept her informed every step of the way. The guys that did the work put their heart and soul into it and the results far exceeded her expectations.’
The resident said of the transformation; ‘The work has made a massive difference to our lives, my daughter can now play out and we have a garden at last!”
Halton Housing Trust and the resident would like to thank Stephen Smith and Anthony Fogg for their hard work in ensuring the work was completed in time for the move.
