Kier Services, a leading repairs and maintenance provider, is inviting local businesses and subcontractors to its ‘meet the buyer’ event, held next week in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
The session will include presentations from Kier and the chance to discuss potential opportunities to work together to deliver property repairs & maintenance, gas servicing and planned capital works.
Kier is one of the leading repairs and maintenance providers working in social housing in the UK; this year alone it will maintain over 240,000 homes and carry out more than half a million repairs. It also works closely with local businesses across all of its contracts to ensure money is invested wisely into the local economy.
Kier regional director, Mike Furze, said: “Kier is committed to working with local companies across all its contracts; this is a perfect opportunity for businesses to invest in their communities and have a say in the work being done, as well as contributing to the region’s economy.
“We believe in creating a lasting legacy within the communities we serve and our regular ‘meet the buyer’ events are a perfect way for us to work with those who know the community best.”
The event, which is free to attend, will take place at Oakleaf Sports Centre, School Aycliffe Lane, Newton Aycliffe, DL5 6QZ on Tuesday 3 June from 10.30-12.30. To book a place, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, company name and number of delegates.
