Last year’s winners Mr and Mrs Boland accepting their certificates and vouchers from Tony DeBeaufort.
Stockport Homes’ annual gardening competition is open for entries. If you have pretty pansies, beautiful hanging baskets and lovely lawns you could be in with a chance of winning up to £250 in vouchers.
With first, second and third prizes in four categories, plus entries being spilt by east and west areas, all customers have a good chance to get involved and take part.
Stockport Homes is inviting green fingered customers to enter into the following categories: best individual garden; best communal garden; best container or hanging basket; and best fruit / vegetable garden. The closing date for entries is Friday 18 July 2014.
The competition is open to all tenants, leaseholders or household members of Stockport Homes. If you are not a keen gardener yourself, you could nominate someone else. The judging will take place at the end of July.
Tony DeBeaufort, Greenspace Manager for Stockport Homes said, “Last year’s overall winners Mr and Mrs Boland from Heaton Norris did a fantastic job so they have set the bar really high for this year’s competition.
“We want to encourage all our customers to put on their gardening gloves and get involved in this year’s competition.”
