Didcot Divas at Soha's Older Persons' Health and Wellbeing Day
The Didcot Divas provided afternoon entertainment at Soha Housing's first Health and Wellbeing Day for its older residents. 60 tenants from across the district converged on Didcot Civic Hall to hear about support from agencies, such as AgeUK, and a new range of activities the landlord offers around its sheltered accommodation across rural South Oxfordshire.
Maureen Adams, Director of Customer Services and Operations at Soha said, "Residents really participated in the event, whether joining in the chair-based exercises, asking AgeUK questions about services, or singing along with the Didcot Divas!
Our older residents have a lot to offer and isolation in their later years need not be a fact of life for them.’’
