New Hey Housing Development
Magenta Living’s new development of 131 homes in New Hey Road, Woodchurch, drew the crowds to an open day on Saturday.
Visitors were able to have a look around one of the two and four bedroom houses and speak to the Magenta Living team about how to apply for any of the properties which include two and four bedroomed houses, two bedroomed apartments and two bedroom bungalows, all built to current energy saving and security standards.
Prospective tenants of Magenta Living homes do not need to be on a waiting list or be an existing tenant, and can be on benefits or employed.
Dominique Blundell, Head of Tenants and Environmental Services at Magenta Living, said: “There is still a belief that you have to be on a waiting list or on benefits to rent one of our homes. This is not the case.
“As a social landlord, we let our homes to people in need and ensure they meet the affordability criteria so they can sustain their tenancy. This applies to applicants in employment as well as those on benefits.
“While we can’t always find homes in some extremely popular areas that don’t become available very often, we have a wide range of properties across Wirral for prospective tenants to view.”
With its own repairs team and ten years experience, Magenta Living offers a professional and efficient landlord service to all its tenants.
