Magenta Living's annual garden competition
Calling all green fingered residents! For the ninth year running, Magenta Living is hosting its annual best garden competition.
With over 80 entries received last year, the team is anticipating topping the 100 mark this time round as more residents take pride in their outdoor space.
With first, second and third prizes in three categories, plus entries being spilt by location, all residents have a good chance to get involved and take part in this long standing tradition.
Magenta Living is looking for entries in the following categories; best blooming balconies, pretty front gardens and perfectly cultivated communal spaces, and the closing date is Friday 18th July.
After the closing date, judging will take place, but the winners won’t be announced until the awards ceremony in September. With a prize pot totalling over £500 in B&Q vouchers, anyone can enter as long as they live within the locality of a Magenta Living estate.
Lorraine Anderson, Resident Involvement Manager at Magenta Living says: “Last year’s overall winner Dave Johns from Woodchurch did a fantastic job of looking after his front garden, so he’s set the bar really high for this year’s competition.”
“We want to encourage everyone to embrace this opportunity, because we believe that well kept gardens will improve community living as a whole.”
