Young Leaders Award 2014 - Front-runners revealed Young Leaders Award 2014 - Front-runners revealed

The online voting phase of this year's Young Leaders Award has reached the halfway stage.

With more than 4,000 votes cast so far, the competition is really hotting up as we get ready to chop our list of 20 candidates down to 10.

Readers of the 24dash and 24housing websites have until Friday May 23 to decide who they want to make it through to this year's semi-final at the National Housing Federation's offices in London in July where they will face each other and the Young Leaders judges, including David Orr.

Five finalists will then be selected to take part in the grand final, which will be held on stage at the NHF annual conference in Birmingham in September.

The successful candidates will be revealed in the June edition of 24housing.

In no particular order, here are the 10 finalists currently lining up for London:

  • Irfan Mehboob, Wolverhampton Homes
  • Jesse Meek, Sovereign Housing Association
  • Chisa Egwurugwu, Brent Housing Partnership
  • Isabel Chapman, Peabody
  • Helen Roughsedge, Home Group
  • Robin Moorcroft, Sanctuary
  • Roxanne Bacon, New Charter Housing Trust
  • Joanne Miller, Daventry and District Housing
  • Richard Brooks, Herefordshire Housing
  • Katie Bond, Notting Hill Housing Trust

Remember, with 11 days still to go this can all change. Be inspired, click here to get involved.
