A social landlord is set to launch a new credit union for its tenants.
Bracknell Forest Homes' savings scheme will offer lower cost loans and special free jam jar accounts to help residents manage their monthly budgets.
Linda Wells, BFH's housing and community services director, said: “The credit union is a safe and secure option for managing monthly finances. We hope that many residents will find the service very useful to manage their priority bills such as rent.”
BFH has pledged to pay the £5 credit union membership for jam jar accounts for its own tenants.
