One Vision Housing, part of the Sovini Group, has appointed Brendan Gleeson, as Development Director.

In his role, Brendan will be responsible for generating a mixed tenure development programme for the award winning housing association, and is tasked with the aim of delivering a variety of affordable, social, market rent and housing for sale, not only in Sefton, but also in adjacent local authority areas over the next five years.

Brendan said: “This is a very exciting time to join One Vision Housing and be an integral part of their plans to generate badly needed new housing of different tenures.

“We have already identified a number of development opportunities through local land acquisitions and Section 106 Agreements with national builders; and anticipate being able to deliver over 100 new homes each year going forward.”

“One Vision and the Sovini Group certainly shares my appetite and desire to generate new housing, particularly for those in need.”

Brendan’s career in social housing started back in 1978, when he joined Merseyside Improved Houses (now known as The Riverside Group) as an Area Surveyor. After 14 years and a number of promotions he joined Salford Community Housing Association as Director of Development and subsequently Servite Houses as Regional Development Director. For the last eight years Brendan has worked at Liverpool Housing Trust as their Director of Development, before joining One Vision Housing.
