Social housing tenants in Sefton have been given a last chance to take a share of a £35,000 fund.
Adactus Housing Group is urging its tenants, community groups and voluntary organisations to submit bids for projects that will benefit people living across the borough.
Last year's neighbourhood fund supported numerous projects including summer activities for children, Bootle Literacy Festival and the installation of an astro turf pitch at a youth club.
Lindsay Greenhalgh, Adactus neighbourhood development officer, said: “With the deadline of Friday 2 May only a week away we are urging anyone who has an idea or is involved in a project that enhances the neighbourhood, to contact us and make a bid for funding."
Applications to the fund, now in its fifth year, are judged by a group of tenants who have the final say in which projects are awarded funding.
Chris Richardson, community engagement manager at Adactus, added: “There is still time for people to get their bids to us. All you need is a good idea for how the fund could be put to use. Even you are unsure on how to bid or need help filling out an application form we have a team of staff who are happy to offer help and advice right up to deadline day.”
