Atrium Homes supplies, manages and maintains over 1,250 affordable rented properties across Ayrshire and, under the name of Choice Places, is a property factor for around the same number of dwellings. Atrium Homes is a ‘not for profit’ company and the senior company of the Atrium Group.
 
Atrium has recently completed a procurement exercise to replace existing housing management and finance systems plus introducing mobile working for housing officers, contractors and inspectors with a view to improving the efficiency of the services that it provides to its customers.

To this end, the company chose Kypera to deliver Kypera Housing, Kypera Financials and Kypera Mobile in a truly integrated infrastructure so that staff can provide a 21st century service to Atrium’s customers.

Stephen Black, Chief Executive of Atrium Homes was more specific regarding the reasons for choosing Kypera:
“From the word go, Kypera were on the ball in understanding what we needed from a new system and showing us how their modern suite of management tools could deliver what we were looking for."

"As part of the procurement exercise, we decided to run an initial presentation which, although very tight on time, was designed for the suppliers to show us what their systems could do. By providing a detailed brief beforehand of what we wanted to see and allowing the suppliers to show us their wares unimpeded by questions during the demonstration we were quickly able to establish which systems might work for us."

The project is now underway and Atrium will go live with Kypera in Q2 2014
