CEO Sue Lock proudly displays our Best Award
Crewe-based housing association Wulvern has been acknowledged as a ‘very good’ employer for a second year by workplace engagement specialists Best Companies and has been named as one of The Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For.
Best Companies Accreditation, which recognises excellence in the workplace, follows the elite ‘Michelin style’ star rating system based on employee responses to a series of questions designed to examine the components of a happy and successful workplace, such as a company’s ability to provide leadership, wellbeing and personal growth, as well as canvassing people’s views on their management, colleagues and happiness.
Sue Lock, Chief Executive of Wulvern, commented: “Receiving this ‘kite mark’ is due recognition that Wulvern is investing in the wellbeing and motivation of our most valuable assets: our employees, helping us recruit and retain ‘the Best’. At Wulvern we work together as one big team to make a positive difference. We are waiting with baited breath to see what our position on the list will be when it is published in mid-March.”
The award comes as a double celebration for Wulvern as they also recently clenched a prestigious gold Investors in People award.
