Orchard chosen by bpha to supply new £2 million housing and business management system

Leading housing provider bpha has chosen Orchard to supply a comprehensive housing and business management solution to meet its growing business requirements, now and in the future.
Bedford based bpha chose Orchard as the lead contractor to help deliver a new system which will incorporate housing management, mobile working solution, customer relationship management (CRM), electronic document records management system (EDRMS) and business management. Orchard will work in partnership with South View Solutions to provide mobile working and Documotive to deliver the EDRMS. In addition, Orchard and bpha will be working with Octavia, to implement OSKA, its acclaimed Supporting People application, which will provide bpha with a modern system to help older residents with their individual care plans.
It is anticipated that the new system will enable bpha to better manage its customers and business information enabling better decisions to be made and create efficiencies.
The project, which is expected to go live in late 2014, is being delivered by an in-house team of seven headed up by project manager, Clive Thacker. bpha decided to draw on internal expertise to help shape and deliver the new £2 million system, to ensure that it is robust enough to enhance the existing business but also capable of supporting business expansion.
