Housing 21 has signed a 10-year contract with CarelineUK and Cirrus, worth an overall £15 million.

Cirrus will manage the supply, installation and maintenance of Housing 21’s warden call and door entry systems including a full new build programme, in a deal worth £11m.

CarelineUK will handle the emergency alarm monitoring for over 24,000 connections in a £4m contract. It responded to over 2.8m calls nationwide last year.

Bruce Moore, chief executive of Housing21, said: "We are confident that this new long-term partnership will bring us an enhanced quality of service that will benefit our customers".

Housing 21 describes itself as "the UK’s largest non-profit care provider and a national leader in providing innovative, affordable housing for older people".
