Friendship Care and Housing’s (Friendship’s) Valuing our Workforce Working Group (VOW), are celebrating their 2nd anniversary. At a recent meeting Jonathan Driffill, Managing Director, thanked the group for their hard work and commended them as being one of the most successful employee representative groups at Friendship.
Notable achievements from the last two years include: a staff benefits booklet, new starter goodie bags, a health and wellbeing tour across all offices and recognition from external accreditations such as winning the Best Provider of Learning and Development 2012/13 award and being a regional finalist in the Great British Care Awards 2013.
Rachel Bennett, Head of HR, said “We are really pleased with all the successes the group has achieved over the last 2 years. Things can only continue to improve and this year, the group’s main focus will be to prepare Friendship for the upcoming Investors in People inspection”.
